Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology

The Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology has been established by Saraswati education society (SES), The Trust registered in the year 2003. The trust is running engineering college, pharmacy & management institute, more than four thousand Students are pursuing various educational courses under the guidance of over 200 teachers & non- teaching staff. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with University of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The college was established in 2005. The Institute has signed MoUs with local industries for job training. The Institute offers under-graduate programs in B.E. (Computer science & engineering, Electronics & telecommunication, Electrical & electronics, Electrical engineering, Mechanical, Bio-medical engineering) and post graduate courses in Master in Management Study (MMS), Master of Computer Application (MCA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Institute consists of following departments-
1. Department of Mechanical Engineering
2. Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
3. Department of Computer Science and Engineering
4. Department of Bio-Medical
5. Department of Science and Humanities
6. Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology is highly recognized for its modern infrastructure and latest facilities. Entire college campus is fully Wi-Fi enable, an air-conditioned library which has 10,000+ books and many journals, magazines in addition. The admissions the entrance exam are decided based on merit. The admissions to other courses are based on the 10+2 marks. A small percentage of the seats are reserved for Non-Resident Indians. The Industry-Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) is dedicated to promote the close interaction of industry and departments of the institute.
The college has dedicated grounds for Cricket, Football, Hockey as well as Courts for Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Ball badminton. The College also has an MOU to support student exchange with foreign universities Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology has an integrated Placement cell for students to guide them through recruitment process.
