Events at YMTCM

Life on campus of Y.M.T. College of Management is very eventful. It is buzzing with activity and movement. At YMTCM, it is believed that 'all work and no play' is not the right motto to follow. Thus, there are a number of activities for the students to take part in and enjoy. Some of the activities are described below -
1. Breaking the Ice - This is an induction programme which has the prime objective of welcoming the new students to YMTCM. It is held to give the new students an idea about the life at the institute. It includes an introduction to the curriculum, faculty, seniors and fellow students. The whole programme is to put the new joinees at ease with a warm welcome.
2. Management Festivals - These festivals are held for the students to be able to creatively experiment with the knowledge that they have acquired at the college. They get together and organize debates, quizzes and various management games.
3. Industry Visit - To impart a better understanding and a visual picture of the concepts taught in the classrooms, the students are very often taken for industrial visits. This helps them to grasp faster and retain for longer.
4. National Level Technical Festival - The MCA department of YMTCM conducts an Annual Techfest called 'Xccelerations'. Many colleges take part in this fest. This fest is very competitive and tests the participants on computing, technical and creative skills.
