Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology

The Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology currently offers six under-graduate programs as following- B.E - CIVIL ENGINEERING, B.E - COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING, B.E - ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING, B.E - ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, B.E - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, B.TECH - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, along with Master of Engineering, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) course is of 4 year of Duration and the admissions are based on the merit in a State level entrance exam held by govt. of Tamil Nadu.
Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology campus consists of various amnesties with modern facilities. The institute has received the award of being an ISO 9001:2008 institution. The Institute has facilities like separate hostels for boys students and girls students, along with fine facilitate labs for each department, a central library that houses blocks for each department related books. In addition to these facilities, the college also provides facilities like a Health center with an on-call doctor, Transport facility for day-scholar students. The Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology also provides many extracurricular activities, the college campus has its own NSS unit of students that works for social programs and events, and also a red cross society. The Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology offers great placement services through its training and placement cell, the college accommodates deep training session for final and 3rd year students which provide them facility to know the recruitment process, improvise their soft skills.
