VelTech Multi Tech Dr. Rangaranjan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College is a co-educational engineering college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated by Anna University, Chennai. The Institute received the status of An ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution for its well-orgaanized infrastructure and academic excellence.
The Institute offers under-graduate courses in B.Tech (Computer science, Bio-medical, Electronics & communication, IT, Civil, Electrical & electronics, Mechanical engineering) along with post-graduate courses such as M.Tech (Computer science, Embedded System, VLSI Design, IT, and Network engineering), Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Institute’s faculty consists of about 110 dedicated, experienced and well-qualified teachers providing quality education.
VelTech Multi Tech Dr. Rangaranjan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College is highly recognized for its modern infrastructure and latest facilities. College campus has internet connectivity, an air-conditioned library which has 10,000+ books and many journals, magazines in addition. The Institute also encourages students towards participation in sports and has a sports ground for cricket, volleyball, football and lawn tennis and a common room where students can play indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc.
The College campus is also equipped with an air-conditioned Auditorium for seminars with audio-visual aid, and a Language lab with latest software’s to provide better understanding of English among students. The College campus hosts many cultural and extracurricular events throughout the year which are organized by student committees. VelTech Multi Tech Dr. Rangaranjan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College provides a dedicated Placement Cell for assistance for the placement of students and to guide them through the placement process and interview skills.
