U V Patel College of Engineering College is spread over 25 acres of land and is a part of Ganpat vidyanagar Campus. It has two ultra modern buildings of architectural splendor measuring 6100 sqm. and 2700 sqm., for housing class rooms, tutorial rooms, seminar hall, offices, drawing hall, workshop, library, well equipped different departmental laboratories, several computer labs with internet connectivity through 1 Mbps wireless link, satellite link education center with two-way audio and one-way video link with Gandhinagar etc.
The Institute Courses offer-COMPUTER ENGINEERING, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGG, MECHATRONICS BIOMEDICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING,CIVIL ENGINEERING,ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. Master of Technology (M.Tech)- ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES, CAD CAM , COMPUTER ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGG, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. Master in Computer Applications (MCA), Ph.D. Programme in Engineering & Technology.
U V Patel College of Engineering College meets the Kerala guidelines for new colleges control especially in matters of admissions and fee structure. A substantial number of students hold scholarships instituted by the management. The college has seven engineering departments (Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Production Engineering) and three allied departments (Department of Applied Sciences, Department of Humanities, and Department of Training and Placement).
The College runs six B Tech programmes and the MCA programme. U V Patel College of Engineering College has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with State University of New York. The college library houses a collection of more than 13000 books in branches of engineering, technology and basic sciences. The college has a forum in the form of Research Development Extension and Consultancy Cell (RDEC Cell) for promoting research and allied activities. The infrastructure facilities of the college are utilized for formulating and implementing research projects.
