Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management is one of the five Regional Institutes of Co-operative Management in the country, administered by the National Council for Co-operative Training, training wing of National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi. This Institute caters to the training requirements of executives of cooperatives, department of Co-operation and other Government departments connected with cooperative movement of the State.
The college offers Diploma course with specialization in Industrial Cooperative Management, Post Graduation Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Higher Diploma in Co-operative Management. The Institute has three classrooms with the seating capacity of 30 to 35. Out of these three classrooms one is equipped with round table sitting arrangement and is air-conditioned. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management in its various departments.
Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management has a rich infrastructure with all the latest facilities. The campus consists of a Central library having about 8000 books and subscribes over 40 journals in the areas of Co-operation, Management, Accounting, Economics, Rural Economics, Co-op. Credit, Consumer Co-operation, and Marketing etc. Separate in-campus hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary amenities.
The college campus houses An Auditorium which is used to host national and international events and a Health Care Centre. The Computer Lab of the Institute is well equipped with 20 Pentium –IV computers, which are connected through LAN system and having INTERNET connectivity to access the worldwide information. The further renovation is in process for equipping the computer lab with few more PCs, printers and web-cameras. The Institute runs an integrated Training and Placement Cell for students.
