There are many courses are offered by the University such as
Under graduate- College of Architecture and Engineering, College of Architecture and Veterinary Sciences, College of Biological and Physical Science, College of Health Sciences, College of Education and external studies in all these subject students get the opportunity to do specialization under the lead of experienced faculty.
There are some criteria to take admission in the University of Nairobi
Mater Degree- For the master degree the students should have upper second class degree with the relevant University .
Postgraduate diploma and certificate course- Interested candidate for the Postgraduate diploma and certificate course should have pass degree from the relevant University.
Doctor of Philosophy Degree- The interested candidate should have master’s degree from the University of Nairobi or any other approved University along with that the candidate have to submit a research proposal to the University
.
The time duration to complete these courses are Doctor of Philosophy- 36 months, Master degree- 18 months, Post graduate diploma- 9 months, Postgraduate certificate- 6 months.
