University College of Engineering is affiliated to the Anna University of Technology. This institute is built up in up area of around 7.6 acres, with aesthetically & articulately designed buildings. The institute offers various courses in
following faculties:

University College of Engineering offers following courses on bachelors and Masters level- B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering), B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering), B.Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering), M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), M.Tech (Computer Science), M.Tech (VLSI), and M.B.A.(Master of Business Administration). The intake capacity for Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering is 180, for Mechanical Engineering it is 120 and for Electrical & Electronics Engineering 24 students are granted admission.
The University College of Engineering college library is built up in an area of 600 sq. meters, and has a capacity of housing 200 students at a time. AT present, the library has collection of more than 19,574 volumes of books. The library also subscribes to many news-papers and journals and periodic on many subjects, along with a rich collection of related CD ROMs, Audio Cassettes, and Study material. The library is fully computerized and also provides facility of digital library. The college is a member of has NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced learning).
