Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is an agricultural university located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1971, The University is offering 13 undergraduate programs, 40 graduate programs and 27 doctoral programs. The university has 11 constituent colleges and four affiliated colleges. In addition to these the University has 36 Research Stations for agrotechnology development and 14 Farm Science Centers for outreach. The University has a great infrastructure with latest facilities. It provides students with a well stocked library. The campus includes library, offices, residential complexes and separate hostels for boys and girls in aesthetically designed buildings matching the climate. The University is both residential and affiliating in character. The University organizes many extracurricular events and its students have received National level achievements in NCC, NSS, youth welfare programmes. The University occasionally hosts seminars, workshops and conferences for research and skill development of students.
