The School of Technology, offer courses as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology, Agriculture engineering. These B.Tech courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). School of Technology also runs Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses in Information Technology, and Agriculture Technology, along with Ph.D. programs in Information Technology, and Agriculture Technology. The Institute also provides diploma courses in engineering, along with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) affiliated to the Assam University. The undergraduate curriculum recognizes the changes in technology and engineering and works to establish in all students an appreciation and desire for lifelong learning. The Institute consists of following departments:
• Department of Information Technology,
• Department of Agriculture Engineering
• Department of M.Tech
• Department of Research in IT
• Department of Agriculture Research
The admissions in the School of Technology, Assam are based on interview and performance in the eligibility exam score card. The students must be passed with at least 50% marks in 10+2 with mathematics as a subject. Based on the interview process, the college determine the eligibility of the applicants. Medical facilities are provided round the clock in Dr School of Technology, Assam college campus. School of Technology, Assam gives utmost importance to placement process of its students and hence runs a training and placement cell. The T & P cell of college has also tied-up with companies like Reliance, Bajaj Allianz, NIIT, Maruti, Wipro, and etc.
