2. Achievements : In the Pre University Examination - 2010, the college received 6 ranks. Sanjana K S created history by securing a grand 593 out of 600 in Commerce. Such a high score has been achieved for the first time in the history of Pre University Examination in Karnataka.
3. Sports : The sports department of SBMJC has left an indelible mark in the competitive sports circle. The college team has participated in intercollegiate tournaments at the college level university level as well as All India level and have tasted remarkable success.The college has great performers in the field of athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis, hockey, volleyball, swimming, snooker and handball.
