Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi works under the management of udupi Sri Mutt Education Council. The management institute is affiliated to Mangalore University, Manglore and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Poornaprajna Institute of Management conducts postgraduate level programme in the field of management studies - Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management, Financial management, Marketing Management etc.
The two-year full time programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development; Government of India. Poornaprajna Institute of Management has a wide range of modern amenities provided to its students within the campus. The Eligibility criterion for admission in any MBA course is Graduation from any stream, while final year students can also apply.
Poornaprajna Institute of Management has a fully computerized Library which allows students to obtain books/journals using any computer by user id and password. Class-rooms are equipped with remote controlled LCD multimedia projectors and internet networked computer and public address system with cordless microphones. The Institute manages separate hostel facility for boys and girls with latest facilities. Poornaprajna Institute of Management organizes many extracurricular activities and events which are entirely managed by students to let them have an experience of management.
In Addition to these, throughout the length of the course many guest lectures are held at the campus to guide students for better career. Poornaprajna Institute of Management also gives students the opportunity to attend a semester abroad for training purpose to better understand the global marketing and management trends. The Institute runs an integrated placement cell for students to improvise their skills and know about the recruitment process.
