Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod is a co-educational engineering college in Kasaragod, Kerala established in 2000. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and affiliated by Kannur University. The Institute offers courses in B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Civil engineering, Information Technology), Master of Business Administration (MBA), M.Tech (Computer science and engineering). Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod received ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution Certificate for academic excellence and great infrastructure. The Institute provides scholarships for students who perform outstanding in academic sessions. The Faculty of about 150 well trained teachers who are devoted towards the excellence and quality of the education makes it one of the best engineering colleges in Andhra University.
Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod is highly recognized for its modern infrastructure and latest facilities. Entire college campus is fully Wi-Fi enable, an air-conditioned library which has 18,000+ books and many journals, magazines in addition. Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod is a fully residential campus. There is separate hostel facility for boys and girls with latest facilities.
The College Campus consists of a Bank, ATM and post office within the campus area for students and faculty. Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod encourages cultural and extracurricular activities and has a student body which takes the initiative of organizing various activities for the students all year long. Students are provided many guest lecturers for guidance. The College has its own well equipped training and placement cell to guide students for better career and through placement process. Along with this Lal Bahadur Shastry College of Engineering, Kasargod have strong collaborations with many major MNCs which take part in institute’s Campus Placement Program.
