The University College of Engineering, Kakatiya University (KUCE) is a technical university located in Kothagudem, India. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated by Kakatiya University College of Engineering and Technology. Established in 1976 The University College of Engineering, Kakatiya University is the only school of mining in Andhra Pradesh. It was formerly known as Kothagudem School of Mines.
The college moved to its present permanent building in 1996. Today it is the biggest among the campus colleges of Kakatiya University. There are 103 teaching staff members, including professors. The college offers undergraduate corses in B.Tech (Computer science & engineering, Electrical & electronics engineering, mining engieering) and Post Graduation courses as Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

NRI Institute of Technology Management hosts many guest lectures, seminars and workshops for students as part of their curriculum in the institute. In addition to that The University College of Engineering, Kakatiya integrates a training & placement cell to provide students a platform to improvise their work and interview skills and to better understand the recruitment process.
