Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering

Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering is a major college in the city of Mahabubnagar, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 2009. The College is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
Five of the courses, namely, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA, AICTE) and the Institution of Engineers (India). the Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering is offering four year B.E. degree courses in 8 Engineering branches, namely, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering and two post graduate courses M.E(CAD/CAM) of two years duration and MCA of three year duration, the college also houses a Research and Development cell.
Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering has a rich infrastructure with latest facilities. The Institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The 8 acres college campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar halls and class-rooms use projectors for visual aid. Students have a perfect place to learn and excel by striking a balance between academics and contemporary engineering practices. The primary objective of the college is to produce high quality enterprising students with excellent technical skills by which they can contribute for the society development. The institute also has facility of online guest lecturers from anywhere in the world. The college has a central library with 30,000 volumes, 8,573 titles.
