Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering is one of the best college of Shimoga and the college was established in the year 1980 with the cooperation of National Education Society. The college is affiliated by the Visvesvaraya Technological University and accredited by All India Council of Education (AICTE) and by the Government of India. The Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering is spread in 40 acres of lush green land and it has more than 2500 students with the 300 staff in the college.
The colleges many courses under the graduation and post graduation degree and all the courses are design in such as way that the students will not have to face any problem. More than 1000 students under graduation and post graduation degree passed from the Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering.
The mission of the college is to provide the best technical education to the students and to change and develop the nation. The college has placement cell in which students can register them selves and there is pre placement examination which they have to clear to get into main placement test which is organize by the multi national company. Many prestigious companies come to Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering for the placement such as TCS, HCL, Wipro, Mahindra Tech, Oracle, Gati and many more.
