J.J. College of Arts and Science was established with a dream of offering value-based quality education. The college striving hard has blossomed into a haven of novel Post Graduate courses in the emerging fields of Science and Technology, to everybody's delight.
Having established itself as a premier Post Graduate institution, its next step as a natural
ambition is to strengthen its research activities. It believes that, Research and Development in collaboration with the industries, will contribute to the development of the nation - taking the knowledge to the field.

At present the College has 3187 students and 173 staff within its fold. It offers 13 UG, 17
P.G. 10 M.Phil., 4 Ph.D., programmes, 2 PG-Diploma Courses and One Certificate Course and wide variety of inter-disciplinary and extra-disciplinary courses under the Choice Based Credit System.
