Humera Khan Institute of Management Studies & Research

About the Institute Humera Khan Institute of Management Studies & Research (HKIMSR) was established in 2008. The courses of the institute are approved by AICTE. The institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai. Academic HKIMSR offers a two year full time PGP in MMS with specialisation in finance, HRM, operations and marketing with a total intake of 60 students per batch.
The student to faculty ratio of the institute is 15:1 with eight full time and 20 visiting faculties. Majority of the faculty members have a Humera Khan Institute of Management Studies & Research management background. The institute has five classrooms and a computer lab equipped with 60 computers.
The library has around 3,220 books, 20 national journals and two international journals. The institute also has a seminar hall, cafeteria and locker facility for students. In 2008, 60 students got admitted in the first batch of HKIMSR, while in 2009, 61 students were admitted.
The Institute was established in 2008; with an elucidated vision that, ‘for student to be successful in the global market,they must not only understand the intricacies of business, but also know how to conduct business across cultures, borders and time zones.’ To succeed in international business, managers need to anticipate the political, economic and legal forces shaping the global economy.
The Institute is headed by an experienced Director supported by a team of distinguished & committed faculty who command a vast academic and professional experience. We have very closely been associated with a large number of expert or specialists from the business world, who extended significant contribution to the Institute by educating our management student about the challenges and opportunities in the corporate world.
