Harlal Institute of Management & Technology (HIMT), Greater Noida was established in 1998 by Shanti Educational Society which itself was established to serve as a locus of contemporary Management Education, Training, Development and Research & Consultancy. HIMT has been ranked A Level Business School in an all India Survey of Business Schools -2008 (conducted by Business India - The magazine of corporate world). The Institute is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
The Institute offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)- two year postgraduate degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA)- two year postgraduate degree,, Master Of Computer Application (MCA)- three years duration. The Institute has a highly qualified faculty of more than 70 teachers who guide students through trends and traditions of Business world.
The Harlal Institute of Management & Technology college campus is located in the city Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The academic Complex provides for the complete requirement of Lecture Rooms, Tutorials Rooms, Science labs, Computer Labs, Libraries, Seminar Halls, Common Rooms, Faculty Offices and offices of Head of Departments. HIMT Library is well - stocked with over 16378 books and several Journals (Indian and International) at present. The campus has a state-of-the-art computer lab, equipped with all the modern and necessary equipment to impart cutting edge technology to its students augmented by the latest and powerful operating system. Computer lab is open to students and faculty round the clock.
HIMT has very vibrant and dynamic Training and Placement link. The department has to its credit placements of final year and pre-final year students in organizations of repute which offered handsome packages to the pass out of the institute.Training & Placements of students is given top priority and various activities in this regard are undertaken.
