Hitec College for Boys

Hitec College for Boys is a boys only degree college in Taxila, Pakistan. The College is affiliated to HITEC University of Engineering and Management Sciences, Taxila, more commonly known as HITEC University (HITECUNI), is a private sector university located in Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan. University hostels feature dormitory style rooms, often with bunks, security, social life, showers, and food prep and storage areas. University hostels provide a very community-oriented environment. A transport facility is provided for students, with buses plying between Rawalpindi, Islamabad and the campus.
HITEC College for Boys, Taxila offers Bachelors, Master’s and Doctorate in the following faculties:
1. Faculty of Electrical Engineering
2. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
3. Faculty of management sciences
4. Faculty of Mathematics
5. Faculty of Islamic Studies
6. Faculty of Computer sciences
NAYS (National Academy of Young Scientists) is working to promote Science and Technology in Pakistan by collaborative effort of Young Researchers of Pakistan. NAYS Student Chapter is a part of National Academy of Young Scientists and its main aim to motivate and provide opportunity & platform to young researchers and professionals to comes up with new innovative ideas and research work. HITEC- NAYS team will be at forefront to bridge between the academia and industrial sectors, which help students to interact with professionals, entrepreneurs and many others personal who are expert in their field.
The HITEC college for Boys consist of many educational societies for students. The Literary and Debating Society Promotes literature and the debating abilities of the students. HITEC University Literary and Debating Society organized many events that include "Qiraat" and "Naat" competitions and bilingual declamation contests. The Scientific SocietyAims to provide platform for the inquisitive minds. The Sports Society Organize the sports activities. Adventure and Social Welfare Society of the college provides students with an opportunity to escape from the daily routine of the busy campus life and to enjoy the wilderness and nature. It organizes hiking, mountaineering, jogging, boating and excursion trips.
