Francis Xavier Engineering College

Francis Xavier Engineering College is an engineering college for junior students in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The Institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and has received status of an ISO 9001:2008 for its excellent infrastructure and academic achievements.
The Institute offers graduation courses as B.E. (Computer science, Civil, Electronics & communication, Electrical & electronics, Mechanical, and IT) along with Post-graduate courses in M.E. (CAD/CAM, communication systems, Computer science, Network engineering, Power electronics and drives, VLSI design), M.Tech in IT, MBA and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
Francis Xavier Engineering College has great infrastructure to support the academic structure; the campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled. Institute has hostel facility with latest facilities. College motivates its students to participate in sports and has an indoor stadium where games such as basketball, badminton and table tennis can be played. In Addition Students can make use of the multi-purpose gymnasium which also has a weight lifting workshop. The playground is used for sports like hockey, football and cricket. Many cultural and extracurricular events are also organized within the college campus. The college has well-equipped workshops and machine facilities.
In Institute students are encouraged to have exposure to an industry and are assisted through industrial training. The Francis Xavier Engineering College has its own well equipped training and placement cell to guide students for better career and through placement process. Along with this The Institute have strong collaborations with many major MNCs which take part in institute’s Campus Placement Program.
