Faculty of Engineering and Technology Agra

It has been given a B++ ranking by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Agra University’s sparkling 260 acres main campus is located in Agra city. Agra University is the largest university in the state catering to the educational needs of more than 200,000 students scattered over more than 235 colleges, 15 recognized institutions and 24 approved institutions. There are more than 34 Post-Graduate University departments and 221 P.G. Centres.
The establishment of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology is a milestone in the history of Agra, as it will contribute significantly in making the city a progressive industrial zone of Pakistan. All graduate programs offered by the Faculty are distinct for their quality, both in academics and research. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Agra offers four-year graduate programs in the disciplines of Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. It is hoped that the Electrical Engineering Department will work in close collaboration with the local electrical engineering industries to produce electrical appliances of export quality at competitive rates.
The courses are of duration of 4 years separated in 8 semesters. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology provides research facility and offers research programs. The Department has its own library which is well-stocked and consists books related to the study fields. The library uses OPAC software and is completely computerized. The Department integrates a Training and Placement Cell, and guides the students through the placement process.
