Rajasthan houses a small town in its state called as Pilani which is famous for having quite a large number of educational institutes to its name. Pilani is small in stature but big from the acknowledged education it provides to the students.

This university is considered to be the 3rd best in terms of education in engineering and technology. Shridhar University, a private technological university is the only other university in Pilani.

B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology and Birla College of Nursing are brilliant institutions in engineering and health science respectively. Institute of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers (IETE) is another respected institute in Pilani. Shekhawati Ayurveda College in Pilani contributes to the Ayurvedic Science in India. Shadi Lal Kataria Memorial Women Teachers Training College is the finest teacher training institute in this region.
