Bachelor of Foreign Trade
An ideal course for those keen on understanding international business, Bachelor of Foreign Trade or BFT is a three-year undergraduate degree for students completing class 12. Since this is a relatively new course, eligibility criteria differ between colleges and it may be worthwhile inquiring on these in advance.

The syllabus includes regular business modules such as economic analysis, principles of management, business mathematics, cost accounting, elements of human resource management, principles of marketing, business statistics, production and operations management, E-commerce, management accounting, supply chain and logistics management, business taxation, reporting, and analysis. However, from the second year onwards, emphasis on international perspectives increases as students are introduced to the international business environment, and learn about the international service sector, international relations, banking, finance, economics, marketing, business law, ethics, and project management. They also study import-export procedures, foreign exchange operations, global economies, and a foreign language. At the end of the course students can pursue various careers in foreign trade, from international business analysts, to research and economic advisors.
