B.El.Ed stands for Bachelor of Elementary Education, it is a 4 year graduation degree programme of elementary teacher education. An aspirant who is willing to pursue his/her professional career in teaching, B.el.ed is the course for them. B.el.ed offers an integrated professional degree in teaching. It is a full time graduate course which is not available in correspondence. The course is an attempt towards fufilling the needs of professionally qualified elementary school teachers, also the educational qualification needed to get admission into this course is 10+2 format higher education from a recognised board with a minimum of 55% marks on aggregate. This is one the growing courses in the country with lakhs of applicants applying to get admission into the professional course of B.el.ed. Seeking the growing number of applicants per year, many new institutes have come up to offer the degree course to the willing aspirants. Youth4work has created a network between students, alumni, faculty of institutes and the aspirants to inter-change information about the course and institutes which are offering the course of B.el.ed. Youth4work has built a strong platform to bring about every institute under one roof which is offering B.el.ed in the country.
