Industrial Engineering refers to the industrial prospect of any enterprises dealing with production business & managing the inventories or resources to its best in using effectively is called Industrial Management. Since the scope of the subject Industrial Management is broad so it has been categorized under the business management. Industrial engineering slightly refers the use of structural engineering but heavy engineering has been drawing massive attention in the same name. Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering can be considered largely Industrial Engineering. Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics are entirely dependent upon each other to make effective production & distribution process of any industrial materials smoothly. Civil is purely based upon construction engineering where computer science engineering has created a debut thereby changing the old & traditional facets of heavy engineering. The subject industrial engineering design is constructive in nature because large enterprises are based upon entirely these engineering factors. On the other hand, Industrial Management eloquently deals with the right way of utilizing inventories, resources, man power or smoothing in business process outside the enterprise region.
As elusive or subtle these both subject consider the dynamics of job markets in Industrial engineering & Industrial Management. Technical universities like WBUT, BIT, and IIT Kharagpur & IIT Roorkee & few private colleges offer B.Tech or B.E in Industrial engineering & MBA in Industrial Management. Moreover, if you desire to pursue M.Tech in your home universities or rather in IITs then you have to qualify GATE or IIT entrance test to complete your master’s degree.
