Feedback System

Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology believes in feedback systems. These sytems allow the teachers to measure the students' performance as well as know the weak areas to work upon. The students also benefit and get to know their strong areas and the areas to be worked upon. Their personal progress helps them to gain confidence and also encourages them to work harder. For the teachers as well it is a good way to discover what the students require out of them. By knowing what the students feel, the faculty can then work more efficiently towards helping them in academics and otherwise in a way that works the best.
Some forms faculty appraisals are -
* Peer-to-peer evaluation
* Evaluation by the Head of the Institute or HOD
* Questionaires
* Students evaluate the teachers' perfomance
For the students, there is a Student Information System -
* Information about attendence and perfomance is sent to the parents/guardians of the students after exams
* Regular counselling is given to students by their alloted teacher with respect to studies and carreer paths and goals
